Sonoma Invitational Wind Band and Orchestra Festival

​The Sonoma Invitational Wind Band and Orchestra Festival is the biggest event our music department hosts. Over 50 groups from around the country participate in our three day festival. Our music education students are the core of this event and help make it run smoothly by helping with set up, group guide, judge run, input judge comments, and help with many other tasks. This is an amazing opportunity to network and see how programs from around the country run things.

CMEA Jazz Festival

​Sonoma State University hosts the CMEA Jazz Festival in the gorgeous  Weill Hall. Our music students help set up for the festival, group guide, judge run, and help input group scores in the CMEA data base. This is a great opportunity to network with directors and see how the festival process works with a jazz ensemble.

CMEA Choral Festival

Our music students help set up for the festival, group guide, judge run, and help input group scores in the CMEA data base.
